• The CoolSculpting fat freezing procedure is the only FDA-cleared, the * non-surgical fat reduction treatment that uses controlled cooling to eliminate stubborn fat that resists all efforts through diet and exercise. The results are proven, noticeable, and lasting—so you'll look great from every angle.The CoolSculpting fat reduction procedure is specially designed for those who have unwanted fat in targeted areas. Unlike weight-loss surgery (e.g., gastric bypass), the CoolSculpting procedure is not a weight-loss solution for people who are obese. Good candidates for the CoolSculpting procedure have noticeable bulges in certain areas they’d like to get rid of. 

• Consultation – Before your first session, you’ll need to establish your candidacy. We’ll discuss your treatment goals during your initial complimentary consultation. In order to see ideal results with CoolSculpting, you’ll need to be at a healthy weight and have areas of problem fat that can be pulled away from the body.

• Marking treatment area – We’ll plan out the applicator’s placement to ensure smooth, natural-looking fat reduction and appropriate slimming. Depending on whether you’re treating your thighs, abdomen, sides, arms, or chin, there are different considerations and placement planning.

• Gel pad placement – A cooling gel pad is placed directly on the skin to protect your healthy tissue from the applicator.

• The tissue is drawn into handpiece – The CoolSculpting handpiece applies gentle vacuum pressure to draw tissue up between the cooling panels.

• Gradual cooling – After the tissue is the applicator, it will be slowly cooled. You will initially feel pressure and some coldness, and then your skin will become numb. After about the first ten minutes, you will no longer have sensation in the area. We will keep the treatment room and other areas of your body warm to prevent you becoming uncomfortable or feeling chilled.

• Patient relaxation – During treatment, patients take the opportunity to relax! Most patients read, use their cell phones, or even nap. Once your skin is numb, you will feel completely comfortable.

• Applicator removal – After the hourlong cooling is completed, your provider will remove the applicator. Your skin will be red and slightly raised, but this is temporary.

• Treatment area massage – We will massage the treated skin to help reduce any swelling and return the skin to normal. This also helps to achieve an additional fat reduction.

• Back to daily life! – After CoolSculpting, you’ll be able to return to standard activities. There’s no need for bed rest or any kind of healing concerns – just get back to your day

• During the procedure, you may experience sensations of pulling, tugging, mild pinching, intense cold, tingling, stinging, aching, and cramping at the treatment site. These sensations subside as the area becomes numb. Following the procedure, typical side effects include temporary redness, swelling, blanching, bruising, firmness, tingling, stinging, tenderness, cramping, aching, itching, or skin sensitivity. The sensation of fullness in the back of the throat after submental area treatment. These effects are temporary and generally resolve within days or weeks.
