Treatment Details

• Some patients may not be happy with the look of their lower legs due to bulky calves and desire slimmer legs.

• This is due to bulkiness and hypertrophy of calf muscles, and this condition can be treated with injection Dysport.

• Your doctor will examine you and make recommendations on the best course of action.

• Typically, patients with less fat and larger muscles in the calf area are better candidates for calf slimming and reshaping with Dysport neuromodulator.

• Other issues such as asymmetrical calf muscles and O-shaped calves can also be corrected to some extent with our injections.

• Given the larger muscles in the calf, the needed dose of Dysport is higher (as much as 500units or more in each side) and the injections must be done carefully to minimise interference with normal functioning.

• Skin area is cleaned and numbing cream applied

• Appropriate amounts are divided along the entire calf area and injected in points

• Vit K cream applied for faster recovery

• You will feel slight discomfort during injection as the medication is being injected into the muscles of the calf

• You may feel some dull aching sensation and also some weakness over the calf region for about 1 month after injection but it should not affect your daily routine

• Advice rest and no harsh exercise to be done after treatment for at least 48 hours

• No massage or hot sauna or hot bath after treatment for at least 1 week.
